This week we have been looking after our dwarf sunflowers. The children have been learning about what they need to help them to grow. We have also been practising our fine motor skills by using pegs, threading beads, using different techniques to mould the playdough such as rolling and pinching. All these activities are great to help strengthen the muscles in the fingers ready for using a pencil correctly.
Lots of cooperative playing and learning to use the sand timer in those tricky sharing situations! I think we are all getting on just wonderfully!
