Happy Halloween!

The children have been exploring with their senses this week, They have been developing their fine motor skills by using tongs and scissors to cut up coloured cooked spaghetti. We have been working on our 1:1 counting using spooky spiders, and size and weight ordering the pumpkins. The children used some great mathematical language. Some of the children have been making witches brew using their numeracy skills to follow the recipe. We have be hammering small nails and shapes into pumpkins.

We've made pumpkin masks and played on the climbing frame to increase our gross motor skills and confidence with climbing.

Amberley playgroup had a generous donation from CGT Letting agency so we treated the children to some new gardening equipment and diggers.

The children enjoyed some silly singing with Andrea. One of the favourites is 'Wibbly wobbly woo an elephant sat on you'

Some halloween songs have helped us with our counting and rhyming.

See you after half term everybody!
