Much excitement this week with Winter’s first flurry of snow. Cries of ‘please can we go out’ led to the frantic scramble to put on coats, hats, gloves and wellies and that was just the teachers 😉
Once outside the children explored the ice and were able to make marks on the frosty surfaces leading to a chat about freezing and melting.
We have also been continuing with our construction based play by looking at balance and have talked lots about Road Safety.
on Wednesday the traffic was light on the Amberley highway! The preschoolers were practicing Stop, Look, Listen, Think to cross the road safely as part of our Road Safety week.
