April 13th - April 24th

It might be the start of the summer term, but it's all about the signs of spring here at Amberley playgroup. The children have really enjoyed planting their bean seeds and eagerly await the roots beginning to grow. We have also made 'cress heads' to observe the shoots... and hopefully make some yummy sandwiches!

This week we have also begun our caterpillar journey, a firm favourite of the children and teachers alike! This year the children have named our caterpillars 'Monster Truck', 'Princess' 'Spikey', 'Gruffalo' and 'Dougie.'

The children love to watch the caterpillars grow and eventually turn into cocoons and butterflies.
